Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)
At Bhumi Bali School, we offer a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) designed to enrich the educational experience of our students and community. Our CCAs are carefully curated to foster personal growth, cultural understanding, and physical well-being, ensuring that our students develop into well-rounded individuals to support all the students at their Non-Academic aspects to grow and glow better with their specialities.

SLA Club
SLA stands for Second Language Acquisition. At Bhumi Bali School, our SLA programs are designed to help students and adults acquire proficiency in a second language, specifically English and Bahasa Indonesia. These programs provide a supportive and engaging environment where learners can develop their language skills through practical exercises, cultural immersion, and personalized instruction
Students SLA:
English Club
This club focuses on helping students build foundational English language skills. It provides a supportive environment where students can strengthen their speaking, reading, and writing abilities, ensuring they are well-prepared for success in our English-medium international school. Students will engage in speaking practice with native speakers through role plays to prepare them for spontaneous conversations. They will also explore fun daily flashcards to enhance their vocabulary and grammar, and participate in outdoor learning to smoothly transition between formal and informal English usage.
Timetable: Every Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Location: Grade 6 Classroom

Sports Club
Our Sports Club promotes an active lifestyle and team spirit through a variety of sports programs:
Basketball Club
Students learn the fundamentals of basketball, focusing on skill development (dribbling, ball handling, passing, shooting), teamwork (offensive and defensive formation), and strategic thinking (team play, rotating the ball, and controlling the game).
We train students from the basic to advanced levels with various drills and fun games to make the training exciting and enjoyable. Training takes place on an excellent court with high-quality equipment and an experienced coach.
Timetable: Wednesday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Swimming Club
This program emphasizes swimming techniques (front crawl stroke, breaststroke, backstroke, underwater swimming, dolphin kicking, and butterfly stroke), endurance (underwater swimming and breathing control), and water safety, helping students become confident and skilled swimmers.
At the BBS swimming pool, we provide a clean, well-maintained environment with complete swimming equipment to offer the best possible swimming course, including exciting and fun games. Our swimming coach is highly experienced and licensed as a swimming instructor.
Timetable: Tuesday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Soccer Club
Our soccer program teaches agility (footwork, speed drills, ball control, and kicking power), teamwork (playing offense and defense), and game strategy (playing for fun), providing an enjoyable and competitive environment for students to improve their skills.
Experience a new atmosphere in our indoor sport hall, where we offer high-quality soccer/futsal balls, comprehensive drills, and expert coaching.
Timetable: Monday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Coding club
Our Coding Club introduces students to the exciting world of programming through fun and interactive lessons:
Coding (Kindergarten - Grade 2)
This session is designed for our youngest learners, where they will explore the basics of coding through playful activities and simple programming tasks. Students will develop problem-solving skills and computational thinking in an age-appropriate manner.
Timetable: Wednesday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM, in the IT Room.
Price: IDR 1,200,000 per term (Week 2 – 9)
Coding (Grade 3 and up)
Older students will dive deeper into coding, working on more complex projects and learning programming languages suitable for their age and skill level. This session encourages creativity and logical thinking as students create their own digital projects.
Timetable: Wednesday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM, in the Medic Room.

Adults SLA: Bahasa Club
Is this your first time in Bali? Need to know how to ask for help or even how to bargain in the local market? Bahasa Club is the perfect place to experience authentic Indonesian/Balinese culture. Through engaging lessons and cultural activities, parents will acquire the language skills necessary for smooth integration into Indonesian society. Our experienced Indonesian teachers offer personalized one-on-one conversations in various situational settings, lessons using videos in Bahasa, and visits to the local community (The Banjar) to interact with Balinese people and experience real-life language use.
Timetable: Every Monday and Wednesday, 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Location: Grade 6 Classroom
Period: August 12th – October 4th

BBS Parent Association
BBS Parents Association (BPA) is an active and communicative group of BBS Parents. BPA is aimed on creating strong bond between the BBS Parents, Students and BBS Staff under one strong BBS Community. BPA creates many events that connect into the school activities:
- BPA Yoga class
- BPA on Sport Event
- BPA on Music Festival
- BPA on Art Exhibition
- BPA on the road (Field trips with BBS Community)
BPA reflects the character of BBS in which always think globally and contribute locally, besides BPA is a good group figure to students to show them how to respects others, being involve, help each other, and being strong together. We believe that BPA can always explore any new experiences and new update around Bali communities and bring them into BBS Community to always give the fresh atmosphere and being competitive-ready especially about BBS events in the future.
Community Service
This community service is part of our mission to be one of the best Cambridge School in Bali to implement the Holistic aspect at students’ learning activities. Community service is the school effort to support, maintain and develop the local activities at any local communities in Bali to involve the students, teachers and parents to be part of it. These activities could be The Banjar cleaning up, Learning gamelan (Balinese music), Joining turtle sanctuary, visiting local school, visiting Temples, and celebrating 17 Agustus (Indonesian Independence day).
